Who We Are

Attorney Brian W. Freeman began practicing law in 2008 with a focus on helping “regular people” (i.e. the average Joe). He trademarked the slogan, “Fighting for the Average Joe®”. Brian discovered the workers’ compensation system in 2011 and has focused on only this area of law since then. Brian became a Certified Specialist in the State of California in the field of workers’ compensation law.

Through the years the firm has grown tremendously and now has an incredible support staff , fluent in English and Spanish. Attorney Melissa Lyons has joined the firm as an associate attorney in January 2020, helping the firm reach clients in Orange County.

We are not like many other larger firms — each case is carefully filed in the appropriate venue for each client - the venue closest and most appropriate for the client. A Riverside resident will not have a case filed in Van Nuys. An Orange County resident will not have their case filed in Los Angeles. The two WCAB locations we file at are in Anaheim, CA (for OC residents) and Riverside, CA (for Inland Empire residents).

Communication is key and Attorney Freeman strives to have all client calls and e-mails answered within 3 business days. Information is shared securely and electronically. With a background in Computer Science, attorney Freeman has maintained a cutting edge in technology with the law practice. This makes the day-to-day legal services more efficient, organized, and transparent.
